Even though this was an AI experiment I was doing in my business with a podcast episode, I wanted to show it to paralegals because Google’s NotebookLM has a variety of uses that could benefit paralegals in their work.
In this example, I’m showing you a clip from a recent podcast episode that I produced entirely inside NotebookLM. If you’d like to listen to the entire podcast (audio only) episode, you can listen here.
Watch the video to see how easy it is to use this free AI tool that allows you to upload a variety of sources, such as PDF, Word, MP3, MP4, and more.
Then, you decide what you want the output to be. In the video and in the podcast episode, I decided the output would be for two AI characters to be in a podcast episode discussing the content that I uploaded. I could have also uploaded Word files or other sources for them to discuss.
What can a paralegal use it for?
👉 Upload weekly case law updates on your practice area topics and have NotebookLM read the cases to you in the background while you’re working. You could also have it just summarize the key points of the cases.
👉 It can summarize deposition transcripts and/or read the transcripts to you.
👉 Generate outlines from lengthy documents.
