Module 1: A 6-Step Plan to Increasing Your Billable Hours
In this session, we provide you with a 6-step plan to implement right away to get more billable work and increased billable hours. Through hands-on exercises and instruction, we will help you to establish a plan on how you will meet that billable hour goal this year.
Module 2: The Art & Science of Drafting Time Entries
We expand on what to do now that you are getting more billable hours and show you how to draft time entries that will stay on the bill. We do this through drafting techniques that will convert your time entries into something that the billing partner and the client see as a value. We also discuss some of the most common reasons for write-offs and what you can do to make sure your time entries don’t contain those reasons.
Module 3: Get a Better Work/Life Balance with Increased Productivity
Not every billable hour is the same. If it takes one paralegal 12 hours of work time to bill the same 7 hours that another paralegal does in 8 hours of work time, it’s going to start to affect all areas of your work and home life. In the final module, we show you how to achieve a better work/life balance through increased productivity while you are in the office, so that you can be out of the office at a decent time.
